DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide instrumental support for music classes or college events.
Music ensemble rehearsals
Applied instrument lessons
Creating practice tracks
One-on-one rehearsals with students for recitals/juries/auditions
Recording audition videos with students
Support and advance the CCS strategic plan, and perform other duties as assigned.

CONDITIONS/TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
RATE OF PAY AND HOURS OF WORK
$30.00 per hour. Work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. Total hours per year will not exceed 1050 per year. Position is eligible for paid sick leave benefit with an accrual rate of one hour for every 40 hours worked.
This position is an at-will employment position where the employer can terminate employment at any time for any reason (other than illegal reasons) and the employee can resign his or her employment at any time, for any reason.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Person hired must be able to provide acceptable documentation of U.S. Citizenship or lawful authorization to work in the United States. This is an absolute condition of employment. An offer of employment will not carry with it any responsibility or obligation on the part of the District to sponsor an H1-B visa. This position will be designated a bargaining unit position after a part time employee works 350 hours or more in any consecutive twelve month period.

Adjunct Faculty: Adjunct faculty must work two (2) consecutive quarters at 50% or more of full time academic load in order to qualify for benefits (based on instructional hours only). Once determined to be eligible, benefits begin on the first day of the month following the beginning of the quarter. Medical, dental, life and long term disability insurance benefits are provided as currently administered under Public Employees Benefits Board; TIAA-Cref retirement plan; leave accruals and usage are governed by the faculty master contract.
