Perform warehouse functions such as receiving, storing and issuing stock in a central warehouse or in a major area within a large warehouse. Assist with picking up furniture and miscellaneous items, cataloging, and conducting surplus sales; unload, move and load equipment, materials (including flammable and hazardous); inspect incoming items to verify condition and quantity received; prepare the appropriate paperwork for delivery, note discrepancies, and identify inventoriable items; operate lift trucks, hand trucks, dollies, and other loading and moving equipment; drive trucks to several CCS locations and deliver merchandise; may take physical inventories.
COMPETENCIES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Basic computer / data entry skills are required.
Perform related duties as required.
CONDITIONS/TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
RATE OF PAY AND HOURS OF WORK
$13.50 per hour. Work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. Total hours per year will not exceed 1050 per year. Position is eligible for paid sick leave benefit with an accrual rate of one hour for every 40 hours worked.

If using personal vehicle for travel, proof of driver's license and car insurance required.
This position is an at-will employment position where the employer can terminate employment at any time for any reason (other than illegal reasons) and the employee can resign his or her employment at any time, for any reason.
This position will be designated a bargaining unit position after a part time employee works 350 hours or more in any consecutive twelve month period.
