Our Public Relations Agency Account Executives manages all aspects of service to existing clients including program execution and strategic planning. This position is responsible for working closely with the client to develop and execute media strategies that promote and protect the agency’s reputation, business performance, and expertise/services holistically. (This is not marketing & sales) General Qualifications: The ideal SAE candidates will have high-tech, preferably mobile / wireless, experience; 5-7 years of public relations agency work (a minimum of 2-3 years of management experience; the ability to develop and execute PR programs; involvement in new business presentations (including development); and strong media relations and writing skills. With 3-5 years of agency experience, AE candidates are responsible for working closely with clients to develop and execute media strategies that promote and protect the agency’s reputation, business performance, and expertise/services.
Candidates should possess a Bachelors's degree in communications or related field; demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel; and proficiency in PR technical skills, especially writing and media relations. General Duties: This (Public Relations) Account Executive will develop and manage relationships and achieve results with key business, broadcast, trade, and vertical media Implement an aggressive proactive/outbound media relations program Write key communications – particularly press releases, media advisories/alerts, bylined articles and pitches that meet the strategic goals of the client’s business Develop and implement an awards strategy that promotes the company, services and thought leadership Implement an aggressive proactive/outbound media relations program Execute on leadership skills that foster teamwork, mutual support, personal responsibility and accountability Develop solid working relationships with field leadership, business managers, consultants, team leaders and members, and employees across the organization Excellent organizational, planning skills, combined with the ability to conceptualize, manage and complete multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines Travel as required by projects and client needs Work with the media and an understanding of how to initiate and cultivate positive working relationships This position reports to the Account Director, or account lead and will provide internal support to agency clients.
