TriHealth is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented individual to fill an important role on our Data Warehouse Development and Implementation team. You will work with dynamic technologies in a collaborative environment with engaged internal stakeholders to transform, load, aggregate and integrate claims data to support and influence the long-term evolution of our Population Health analytics capability.

Attention to detail and stringent adherence to our data quality standards are a must. You’ll need great SQL and ETL skills, the ability to both follow directions and think for yourself along with strong analytical skills. A deep understanding of health care claims data will definitely help you. This position will work with limited supervision and must be capable of juggling multiple priorities and able to excel in a fast-paced, demanding health system.
Conduct daily operations centered around processing of claims data
Perform preliminary validation on claims data
Maintain internal updates on ingestion statuses and any new issues in ongoing feeds Develop, design, tune and maintain ETL processes
Perform with exemplary accuracy and attention to detail
Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problem and leads the resolution of complex problems
Excellent data profiling and testing skills
Experience working with both highly technical teams and non-technical teams; ability to communicate effectively to both
You must be a driven, motivated individual who can get answers and possess the ability to forge partnerships with key customer stakeholders
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Computer Programming, Information Systems or in a related field
3+ years proven hands-on MS-SQL Server development, including the ability to troubleshoot queries and tune queries for performance
2+ years of experience with ETL development utilizing SSIS
1+ years of experience with production data operations/high volume; preferably healthcare claim data
Epic Clarity and/or Epic Caboodle experience will be helpful
