Performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties generally in support of an organizational unit.
Duties include, but are not necessarily limited to all of the following:

Communicating with other departments and clients in regards to specimen management functions
Composing routine correspondence in response to inquiries
Opening, sorting and distributing mail
Setting up and maintaining files
Answering telephone and taking messages
Organizing, researching, and developing departmental reports
Typing various correspondenc
Monitoring office supplies
