Major responsibilities include academic advising and retention of enrolled healthcare students. The Academic Success Coach interacts with healthcare faculty, professional staff, students, and other program personnel to enhance and facilitate the admission, progression, and graduation of students. In addition, the Academic Success Coach strives to ensure the highest levels of student outcomes and sustained persistence measures are achieved.

Facilitates and Supports Student Progression
Manages Individualized Student Success Plans
What You Will Do:
Provide academic, proactive, and developmental advising for all students via electronic or phone communication
Actively initiate ongoing guidance to students whose grades, attendance, and/or personal barriers put them academically at risk
Communicate concerns about student progress to the student, faculty members, and the Manager of academic success among others
Monitor progression in courses and ensures timely coordination of registration of selected courses
Act as a liaison for student(s) in matters related to academic appeals, readmission requests, grievances, etc. affecting a student’s progress through the program
Maintain relationship with key contacts at the university in order to keep the lines of communication open about what’s best for the student, our partner and our company
What You Will Have:
Student advising and/or counseling experience at the college level
Master’s Degree in higher education, counseling preferred, bachelor's required
Experience in healthcare or a complementary field preferred
Experience reading reports, analyzing data and utilizing a CRM system
