Supports the Program Director with establishing and managing partnerships with affiliated medical facilities and providers to support and maintain student placement for rotations. Other additional core responsibilities include participation in program committees and councils, support of the program with delivery of the curriculum, and active participation in the ongoing assessment processes of the program, curriculum, and courses to satisfy accreditation requirements.
Establish and manage professional relationships with affiliated medical facilities and providers to insure adequate clinical site placement for student rotations and delivery of curriculum.
Obtain initial signatures and renewal signatures on affiliation contracts between CBU and clinical sites.
Assist with the management of relationships with clinical affiliated entities to ensure student and clinical site satisfaction as well as successful clinical experiences for PA program students.
Facilitate delivery of program expectations to sites and preceptors prior to signing of affiliation and preceptor agreements.
Responsible for the identification and assessment of concerns related to clinical experiences, facilitating appropriate intervention with the directors of the PA program.
Effectively explain the PA model to current and potential clinical affiliates and preceptors.
Recruit and maintain clinical sites.
Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough preceptor and clinical site contact logs.
Maintain timely and accurate accounting of supervised clinical practice experience sites in the accreditation portal.
Utilize relationship skills in situations requiring group problem solving, consensus building, and negotiations.
Support the program directors in insuring supervised clinical practice experiences meet current practice standards as they relate to the PA role in providing patient care.
Assist with program and curriculum coordination, maintenance, review, assessment, and revision.
Participate in the admissions process.
Active involvement with review of the PA program mission and vision statements, goals, and outcomes.
Participate in the accreditation process as assigned by the director of clinical education, the director of academics, the program director, and the data manager.
Teach and evaluate students, as qualified and needed.
Review student logging.
Organization of clinical files and records.
Timely collection of data and documents.
Preparation of clinical reports.
Evaluate clinical sites and preceptors as pre-defined by the needs of the program.
Maintain clinical affiliate and preceptor records, to include licensure, certifications, and affiliation agreements.
Assist with clinical site student credentialing processes.
Establish Site Information Sheets.
Secure reasonable, safe lodging for students placed greater than 60 miles from CBU.
Assist with scheduling and maintenance of student rotations.
Maintain secure student records.
Participate in the continuous program assessment process to include discussions and actions related to program compliance with accreditation standards.
Support program preparation for an accreditation site visit.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director, Medical Director, Director of Clinical Education, Director of Academics, Dean of the School of Sciences, VP or Academics, or University, based on qualifications.

Maintain NCCPA Certification.
Attend program, school and university meetings and assemblies.
Support the PA program both on and off campus.
Represent the program at professional functions.
Representing the program as an ex officio member of the PA Program Advisory Board.
Service to the program, school, university and/or community.
Attend graduation activities and events, as available.
Completion and submission of surveys and ballots related to the program and university, as requested.
Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Medical Director, Director of Clinical Education, Director of Academics, Dean of the School of Sciences, VP or Academics, or University.
Minimum of a Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of 2 years clinical, marketing or sales experience.
Minimum of 2 years of PA Program or higher education teaching experience.
Experience with accreditation (preferably ARC-PA).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher).
Experience with Office 365 and Outlook.
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (E-Medley).
Working knowledge of Student Management Systems (Banner).
