The Night Monitor is responsible for providing supervision and security to clients during their sleeping and morning hours. This position will conduct hourly headcounts and facility tours to ensure all clients are present. This position is responsible for filing all clinical documentation by the end of the shift as well as additional responsibilities including but not limited to maintaining sign in/out log; nightly security reports; supervising clients self-administering medications; completing the weekly and monthly inspection forms, etc. The Night Monitor ensures a smooth transition of nightly activities and incidents for the morning shift.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities and Other Characteristics:
Candidate must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent and a valid Connecticut driver’s license. Experience working with clients in the behavioral health field is required. Ability to effectively communicate, demonstrate teamwork and a commitment towards team excellence. Successfully demonstrate adaptability and flexibility, adjust to change workload, schedules, and situations. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
