Job Title: Administrative Assistant/ Project Coordinator

The Program Coordinator works hand in hand with the Program Manager(s). The Coordinator’s focus is on applying disciplined Project Management processes, techniques and tools (chartering, building and maintaining schedule in MS Project format or excel, providing analysis of project schedule, making recommendations, and communicating project status). An experienced project management professional committed to delivering programs on-time and within budget by improving the effectiveness of project teams through the application of professionally accepted project management methodology, techniques, and tools. Candidate may support 2-6 medium to large or several smaller projects.
The Enterprise PMO Program Coordinator is responsible for organizing meetings, updating project schedules, informing necessary parties of deadlines, writing work flow procedures, maintaining websites, and preparing marketing materials. The Program Coordinator is responsible for communicating task deadlines with project members and to ensuring they are aware of any new developments in a project's status. This could include organizing meeting times and locations, updating a project schedule, and ensuring that all necessary parties are aware of project deadlines.
The Program Coordinator serves as an assistant to Program Managers and the Executive Director of PMO, working closely with them to ensure that project objectives are met. In many circumstances the Program Coordinator will support multiple Program Managers as well. Other job duties include keeping track of documents including but not limited to purchase orders, budgets, and contracts. Additional duties include creating presentations and preparing materials to update stakeholders and business partners on a project's status.
