DESCRIPTION:
As our Nike Running Brand Manager, North America, you are responsible for brand management, leading the development and integration of our seasonal business driving marketing efforts, while providing strategic input and driving functional excellence for our Summer and Fall seasons.

Based in Portland, you’ll play a key role in the creation and planning of seasonal business-driving marketing, and support category and seasonal initiatives. You will use the consumer engagement model to create, serve and retain demand in-order to build brand strength and relationships with consumers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be the voice of the Nike Running consumer and protector of the brand.
Lead the development and implementation of business-driving marketing plans to support key products that fuel category growth.
Partner with functional, account and city brand teams to build plans that inject new digital opportunities to improve how we serve the consumer with business-driving products and seasonal initiatives.
Partner with Brand Director to support development of Nike Running seasonal initiatives. Supporting in the creation and execution of concepts, briefs and plans across key checkpoints.
Assess concepts and strategy against consumer insights and the Nike brand vision to create new consumer experiences that accelerate brand and business growth opportunities internally and externally.
Support input sessions to gain insight from consumers in every aspect including performance and cultural aspects that integrate the city voice in partnership with territory teams.
Collaborate and maintain a close relationship with Functional and City Brand teams across the matrix to develop and lead seasonal initiatives.
Manage relationship with key consumer groups and work closely with Sports Marketing, cross- category Marketing teams, Global and Territory Marketing teams to identify influencers and stay current on market trends.
Liaison for product technical specifications, key innovations, distribution and account partnerships with Merchandising, Sales, Finance and Demand and Supply Management.
Manage campaign progress measurement through weekly Pulse-Checking, Recapping final results and team tear-down sessions to drive a culture of constant learning and improvement.
Work with finance/ops to track budgets according to corporate standards.
Maintain a collaborative, highly creative and progressive approach.
Put the team first and live the Nike brand commitments.
Work effectively within the matrix organization.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
You are passionate about Sport/Running and its ability to unlock atheltes* full potential.
You’re curious and seek solutions to better understand and serve Sport consumers.
You have experience working within a team, are collaborative and thrive within a team environment.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills across a variety of communication mediums.
You have experience leading initiatives and projects within a team.
You have demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others.
You are comfortable with turning loosely-defined goals and tactics into specific, tactical, and actionable plans.
You have the discipline to meet deadlines, budgets, and standards while balancing multiple projects and resources in a fast-paced environment.
5 years’ experience across a combination of consumer marketing, digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing planning, marketing implementation, retail marketing.
Proficient with Keynote, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
