About the job:
The job sourcer role is a contractor role that will require 10-15 hours per week of commitment. You'll pair closely with a Talent Agent and help them source jobs for their clients. Talent Agents manage the day-to-day operations of our clients' job searches. They each have a book of business of around 20 clients. You'll get training and constant guidance from the Talent Agent as you assist them in sourcing roles for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious people who want to know more about the tech industry, as getting to know talent, startups, roles, and inside information every day will be the key function of your job.
- Learn about a large number of our clients and their backgrounds
- Learn about each client's preferences for their next job
- Use traditional methods of job search to search for adequate listings that match client preferences
- Use proprietary methods to research companies
- Send them to a Talent Agent for client review and potential application
After this work, we'll take action on the matches you find to help the client get an interview at these companies, whether through our expansive network in the startup + tech industry, or through other methodologies of the job search.
- Be eager to learn about the nuances of the startup space, how companies fundraise, the roles that are common in the space, etc. You'll get a lot of initial training as to how to judge people + jobs, and will be armed with constant structured feedback to continue to improve and refine your ability to search + find good matches.
