Position: Sr Associate, Accounts Receivable

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within RTX’s Enterprise Services Orders to Cash (OTC) group. This organization offers opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a growing department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities subject to change based upon alignment of processes within developing organization.
Summary of Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated person to be part of the OTC team within the Raytheon Technologies’ Enterprise Service organization. The position in the OTC department is very crucial in the cycle of generating cash for Raytheon Technologies. This person will perform the following primary responsibilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer invoicing of various types of government, commercial and foreign contracts
Responsible for unbilled items on assigned contracts
Review new contract input and modifications for accurate billings
Analysis of cost incurred in SAP project module and reconciliation of any variances
Work with Program Offices to resolve issues, period of performance, cost in excess, billing code problems, invoice rejections, etc.
Work with Internal OTC and Contracts Department to resolve funding issues
Understand FAR regulations as they apply to Government Financing
Solid working knowledge of Accounting principles
Strong analytical capability and the ability to work effectively both alone and within a team environment
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong computer skills, including Microsoft office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
Knowledge of SAP
Microsoft Access and Information Systems proficiency
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Required Education and Experience:
This position typically requires a Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar discipline from an accredited College or University and 2 years of applicable professional experience. In lieu of education a combination of Education and work experience may be considered.
