Job Summary: Fabricate pipe for fire protection systems by cutting, threading, and weld checking each pipe, then bundling pipe for each job.
Does not require background check
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions
Read parts list and determine if all parts are present
Assemble tools, materials, and various components
Use various types of machinery
Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly
Interpret measurements and verify specifications
Resolve assembly and production issues and errors, with management’s assistance
Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
Ensure working environment is clean and promotes safety
Other duties as assigned
Read a tape measure down to a ¼”
Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8- to 12-hour shifts
Follow directions and cooperate with others
Able to work Saturdays
Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
18 years or older
