Facilitates activities and projects for quality and performance program to increase value to patients and families, maximize performance on quality and outcome incentive programs, and avoid quality and outcomes related penalties from all governmental and regulatory agencies. Collects, validates, aggregates, and disseminates data to operational partners. Monitors progress relative to the program work plan and support plan modification as needed based on current pay for performance and quality incentive program requirements. Provides data and information to program manager to support timely updates to stakeholders. Supports committees and work groups whose primary function is quality incentive performance improvement. Collaborates with stakeholders within the system office and across all hospital and clinic sites and departments, and coordinates efficient, standard approaches to data analysis and improvement strategies and tactics. Facilitates shared learning and progress across sites.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare related field or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience within the healthcare environment. Prefer two years of experience in data management processes in healthcare and quality and improvement methodologies. Experience in successful collaboration with healthcare leaders and professionals. Experience with spreadsheet and word processing software.
Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships and use effective communication skills with colleagues, providers, leaders, and staff. Capable of coordinating efforts with team members across departments. Ability prioritize multiple projects. Ability to handle multiple demands and to respond to rapidly changing priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve or mitigate problems. Relates well to others, with ability to inspire and encourage others in the face of challenging goals and imperatives. Ability to track performance, anticipate and identify barriers, identify waste and gaps in efficiency, and facilitate quick changes in response to a changing internal or external environment.
Self-motivated and self-directed. Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to travel among Legacy operating units and assume staff duties as needed. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment working with many deadlines and performance goals that have significant financial implications. Ability to effectively interact with a broad spectrum of personnel, physicians, nurses, resource people to promote teamwork.
